At Reger.com, our employees are our most valuable asset, as we would not exist without them. As such, each employee’s aim is serve each other, and our customers and partners, as well as the communities we are a part of. We feel that by responding in this manner, the corporation will always be successful. To that end, we present our company’s core values and beliefs. They are not simply ink on paper. Rather, they are read at all company meetings, and guide all of our actions. If we don't seem to be living up to them, contact us at cvbs@reger.com. To freshen up on the CV&Bs, play the CV&B Game.

cvb1: We respect the individual, and believe that individuals who are treated with respect and given responsibility respond by giving their best.

cvb2: We require complete honesty and integrity in everything we do.

cvb3: We make commitments with care, and then live up to them. In all things, we do what we say we are going to do.

cvb4: Work is an important part of life, and it should be fun. Being a good business person does not mean being stuffy and boring.

cvb5: We are frugal. We guard and conserve the company's resources with at least the same vigilance that we would use to guard and conserve our own personal resources.

cvb6: We insist on giving our best effort in everything we undertake. Furthermore, we see a huge difference between 'good mistakes' (best effort, bad result) and 'bad mistakes' (sloppiness or lack of effort).

cvb7: Clarity in understanding our mission, our goals, and what we expect from each other is critical to our success.

cvb8: In all our dealings we strive to be friendly and courteous, as well as fair and compassionate.

cvb9: We feel a sense of urgency on any matters related to our customers. We own problems and we are always responsive. We are customer driven.

cvb10: We embrace differing opinions and resolve them politely and directly.

cvb11: We share information freely and deliberately, internally and externally, as much as reasonable.

cvb12: We believe that all people are equal, irrespective of job title, skillset or history.

cvb13: We believe that all people have a personal mission and whenever possible we will help people fulfill and/or find that mission.

cvb14: There’s a big difference between criticizing a person’s work (which is acceptable) and criticizing a person (which is unacceptable).

cvb15: We give back to the community.

The above Core Values and Beliefs were adopted and modified from Charles Brewer’s original list at MindSpring.

Additionally, we believe there are certain unethical actions that are detrimental both to our company’s governance, and also to the greater community which we are a part of. Below, are the corporate sins we seek to avoid.

sin1: Gossip, rumors or politicking.

sin2: Joke about employees, customers, partners, or vendors.

sin3: Work here and not have a personal datablog, or not maintain it on a regular basis.

sin4: Rely on outside vendors, consultants and or developers that are overly priced and let us down.

sin5: Show up to meetings late or unprepared.

sin6: Provide poor customer service with no genuine concern for our customers.

sin7: Finger point at how other people or departments are not doing their job.

sin8: Poor planning and or poor coordination across departments.

sin9: Ignore the competition, as they are far inferior to us.

sin10: Miss deadlines that we commit to internally and externally.

sin11: Make recruiting, hiring, and training a lower priority because we are too busy doing other tasks.

sin12: Look for the next job assignment, instead of focusing on the current one.

The above Corporate Sins were adopted and modified from Mike McQuary’s original list while he was the President of MindSpring.
