It includes the production-quality code used to run reger.com, packaged in a way that allows you to run it on your own server. We are making it available for free in return for your feedback, comments and suggestions on how we might improve our software. If you would like to contact us with any questions regarding this release, please send an email to support@reger.com.- BETA status: Danger! The distributable form is new and may cause issues on various systems. If you need a robust installed version please contact us directly... we can, and have, installed behind firewalls into enterprise environments.
- In this early BETA period there is no automated licensing built into the product. Contact us if you'd like a license. We'll be releasing a pricing plan and automated licensing process soon. With the free version you get 3 users, unlimited sites, unlimited logs and one private label.

- Install MySQL and create an empty database named "reger" and a user with full access to that database (all privileges)
- Run the installer
- In a browser go to http://127.0.0.1/ and complete the setup wizard
- Start datablogging!

- Easy usage of bug fixes and future upgrades at no cost (simply download new builds as they're available and run the installer)
- One private label, meaning that you get a community aggregator and signup point that's customizable... think of your own Reger.com signup site.
- Unlimited logs. You can use any number of the built-in log types (running, swimming, movie reviews, etc)
- Unlimited sites. Each site has a unique url and you can have as many as you like. One user can run many sites.
- The ability to create log types by uploading an XML Schema file... very Web 2.0... and also a very new beta feature.
