First run with the new shoes. They scared me for the first mile. My knee started hurting and I felt out of balance. But the pain quickly subsided and I gained my balance. I ran a smooth 8mph for the majority and upped it to 9mph at the end. The run itself felt great. This is only my fourth run over five miles this year and I can already feel some endurance at that distance. The shoes have a lot of cusioning which is nice. At times it felt like I was walking on springs as compared to my old shoes.
