It's 4:46AM. Woke up about an hour ago with a massive headache. I don't think it's a hydration or nutrition issue. I think it's the whey protein that I resumed eating yesterday. I took some ibuprofen... hopefully it'll take care of the headache so that I can get back to sleep in a little bit. I'm in the basement trying to distract myself with some surfing. Looks like the weather for Tampa on the 24th is looking pretty good. They've been adjusting the high up and down for a few days now, but it appears that a high of 81 with some clouds is possible. Weather.com actually predicts a high of 78. Could be a perfect day for it.
Looks like I won't get to see Lance tomorrow. Kinda sad. His last race on U.S. soil. But I have no car and a few too many things to do. Race starts at 11:30AM in Augusta, GA. Tomorrow it goes from Fayetteville to Rome. I'll try to figure out how to get to Fayetteville for the 1:30PM start. Actually, nope. I'll be in a meeting from 12:30-2:30, so that's out.
Oh well.
Update 5:19AM: Headache has subsided a bit. I'm going to try to get back to sleep. Did some reading on XML tools/libraries and the like.
Update 6:46AM: Heading to Rome to see Rusty in the hospital. Making some quick eggs and bacon before I go, which gives me this moment to post. Fairly upset now and hoping for the best with Rusty.
Update 10:56PM: Lots happened today. See my Rusty in the Hospital post. Most of the day I had a splitting headache, but today wasn't about me. I took ibuprofen as I could. Got a nap in a couple hours ago. Didn't eat much.
I didn't get to plan for a demo I have tomorrow, but I'll have some time in the morning to get everything in order.
The dealership still hasn't done anything with the minivan. Somewhat frustrating. I got a call today and the service rep said "well, I'm gonna keep your car through Thursday because I won't be here tomorrow to call you... the work will be done, but I won't be here to call you."
Are you Xxxking kidding me? "No," I told him. "You need to give the case to somebody else." He gave it to his supervisor. I'll start bugging him early tomorrow because I need the car to leave for Florida Thursday morning.
I haven't glued my tubular bike tire on to my disc wheel yet. Doh! Need to get that done. My first glueing after Curtis' lesson. It takes 24 hours to dry.
So, that was Tuesday. Heading upstairs to watch Jon Stewart and then off to sleep.
