Night Photos

I climbed onto the roof tonight to take
some night exposures.

Yes, there was tequilla involved, but it
was not a relevant factor as I had been
planning on doing it all day.

I didn't expect to get any good pictures my
first time out. I don't have a remote
shutter release so when I open the shutter
I shake the camera which fuzzies the
image. The tripod I'm using isn't very
stable. And I don't know what I'm
doing... the biggest factor.

I started with some 10-20 second exposures
and moved to some 90 second exposures.
Holding the shutter open isn't fun so I'm
going to order a remote timer.

The shots I got look good. On the longer
exposures I can even see some star trails.
I can't wait to get the remote shutter so
that I can keep the camera open for 10
minutes to see some longer ones.

I stayed on the roof for about an hour.
Then early in the morning I got up to catch
the sunrise.
