So, I'm a Personal Web Logger

One big takeaway from the conference is a clear understanding of the
content that I create. It's clearly a personal web log. Many of the
web logging stars in the room choose technical areas or themes to focus
their writings. Mine are clearly about my life.

This goes back to the core value prop for me. I love looking back at my
life and remembering where I was a year ago, two years ago, etc. It
stimulates nostalgia. I think that this has to be one of the most
unmentioned value propositions of web logging.

It may not develop as large a readership as a focused web log, but it
develops a very important one... me. This is against many of the web
log concepts of community building and interlinking.
