Got a New Cell Phone - Audiovox CDM8900

Went out this morning to get my new cell phone. Thankfully,
it's only about five minutes from the house because I forgot
to bring my old phone bill. They need it for number
portability.

After heading back to the house to pick it up I was a
Verizon customer within minutes. I'm always amazed at how
easy it is these days. My first cell phone took a freaking
credit report, background verification and body cavity
search just to qualify.

These days it just takes a few keystrokes.

I took a pic of the lady who helped me. I forget her name
but she was very helpful.

I think that this camera phone thing will be fun. I'm
trying to get Heather to get a picture phone. My father and
my sister are on Verizon... they should get a picture phone
too. Heather's family is on Verizon.

Free Verizon-to-Verizon calls will severly cut down on my
cell phone minutes. I call those family types all the time.

The quality of the camera clearly sucks, but it's better
than nothing when you're out and about.

Well, I've got to get some real work done. No more play
time.
