Ah, the Power of Web Logging as a Marketing Tool
About a month ago I wrote a little blurb about the Polar S625X heart rate monitor. It got indexed by Google and now it's listed as the number five result on a search for S625X. Not bad. Polar is a fairly big company with good marketing in a number of vertical markets. But my little joereger.com web log is up there in the results. About a week ago the indexing in Google took effect and I started seeing a lot of hits on the S625X page. It's one of the advantages of writing early about things before there's a lot of content out on the web about it.
