Movie: Spartan

Val Kilmer and William H. Macey amongst others. A thriller of crappy proportions. I should have known that a movie that I haven't heard about that has stars is likely to suck. A movie I haven't heard about without stars may be good, and often is. But this movie lacked everything. It was sterile and didn't make me care at all about any of the plot. The background music was a tonal spooky thing. Didn't help the movie. No big special effects. Action scenes were, well, lame by today's action movie standards. Bad flick.
