Dinner with the Fams

The families put together an excellent dinner for the bride and groom... that's Heather and me if you haven't been following along at home. The spaghetti marinara was great... the best I've ever had. Diced tomatos. Yummy. And cake. And presents. And the Georgia game. I got to see some of Jesse's excellent artwork. Jo scored her first soccer goal. Everybody got us gifts, and they were great. A nice calm evening before the activity of the weekend. Thanks to everybody who was there... we truly appreciate and love you.

Update: It's 6:11AM the next day... still up with cold medicine. You know... if you squint and look at this thing sideways it looks a whole lot like a Wedding Shower! I didn't realize it until the wee hours but I think we were duped! Excellent work you Not-A-Shower Shower organizers! We love the gifts and had a great time!
