The Holiday Spirit via Gift Booty

I'm amazed at the number and monetary expense of the gifts that were given to me/us this year. People have really come together to look out for me and Heather. Being entreprenurial, my peeps know that everything is on the line. They want it to work out for us and they came up with an amazing array of expensive gifts.

This is after our very expensive wedding. Trust us, this fact is not lost on us.

It brings a tear to my eye just thinking of it. What I learn is that families look out for each other. When one of their own is struggling they come together and help out. I hope that one day I can help out in the same way. It's humbling, in a good way.
