Now's the part of the show where I get ragingly pissed off. This sucks. It's the second day in a row where things have gotten worse. Generally with colds I have a rough morning but things get better throughout the day. That happened yesterday early, but by evening things had gotten worse again. Sleeping is horrible.
This phlegm is so deep in my lungs. It prevents me from breathing but it only comes up after incredibly painful coughing fits. The result is a dark yellow loogie... hardly worth it. And then the coughing begins again. My throat is so raw it hurts to talk, eat and cough.
This flu sucks. Unlike most that plateau and then quickly get better, this one isn't getting better. Heather's in the same boat. Just kind of lingering around.
Pissing me off. There's the training side which I hate. But even more than that is the pain side. I can tolerate a lot of pain, but generally speaking, I whine a lot while doing so. This sucks. And there's little we can do.
Update 11:41PM: Wow. Big turn for the worse this evening. A couple of hours ago I got chills. I put on a ton of clothes and got under the covers. I cranked up the heat. My skin felt like it was burning up but I felt like I was freezing cold. I had a temp of 100.6 degrees. Nothing major but the fever was throwing my ability to regulate temp. Not fun. After a couple hours I'm now feeling a little better. But that's still a shocker. I thought I was getting better. Then, whammy. My equilibrium was off. Odd. Crappy.
