First Biking Workout After Flu - 45 Min



I have wanted to hop back on the old bike for days but I restrained myself. Keith's out there fricking turning out two hour runs, like, all the time. And there I was on my ass.

So I got back on tonight. The indoor stationary bike ride felt good. Got the heart rate to around 155, held it there. Lungs definitely still have a lot of gunk in them. I could feel it gurgling while I worked.

Been meaning to get to those old episodes of 24 I downloaded. Decided to skip the third season entirely. Watched the first episode of the fourth season while I rode. Basement computer.

After I finished riding I got off and proceeded to cough for 15 minutes. Not too painful, but a lot of phlegm. I think the workout was a good thing. Got the blood flowing. Maybe broke some of that stuff up.

Not sure if I'm ready for plyometrics tomorrow. In fact, should probably avoid it even if I think I can... don't want to infect anybody... that was a horrible flu bug. I'm probably innocuous by now (I'm at nine days since symptoms presented), but I'd rather be careful about it.
