Odd, Kinda Crappy Day

PMToday has been an odd, kinda crappy day. I had a master plan for the day which included a big deployment, but that got nutkicked.

First of all, I didn't get to sleep until about 6AM last night/this morning. Then, we had some sort of explosion at 9:04AM which cut the power to the house for about an hour. The explosion woke me up and got me up.

So I tried to work toward my master plan on battery power. Luckily, with only a few minutes to spare, the power came back on.

Then the train got siderailed by clients. And I want to be clear that I love it when clients give me feedback and want to make changes. I have a hard deadline on two fronts and the master plan was an attempt to hit both. Now it's going to take many more hours to hit them. I'll manage.

Something that I expected to take an hour took about five. I was groggy. Took a nap and essentially passed out.

Going to have to skip pilates tonight. Which I hate doing. Third skipped week in a row.

Nice cool drizzle out today. Nothing dramatic though.

I've been groggy all day. But there's work to do. So it's kind of "one of those days."
