Heather's Birthday at the Sun Dial
Heather and I went to the Sun Dial tonight
for Heather's birthday. The sky was clear
with a few white puffy clouds. The
restaurant itself is situated on the top of
the Westin Peachtree building in midtown
Atlanta. It rotates once every hour, giving
you a 360 degree view of the city. It gives
you a good opportunity to reflect
on "remember that time we..." as you see
parts of the city.
The meal was standard hotel fare. I had a
porterhouse steak. The restaurant was not
very full so we had some sense of privacy.
On our first pass to the west the sun was
bright, but by the second pass the sun was
setting into some whispy clouds. The colors
were incredible so we snapped a few pictures.
