Haircut

I cheated on my long-running hair cutter.
Yes, I feel guilty, but it was time for a
change. I change my socks. I change my
underwear. Why not change my hair stylist?

I went to the Van Michael Salon in
Buckhead. I finally figured out who's been
buying the rest of the Prada shoes in
Atlanta. It's the stylists. For a shoe
junkie like me it was nice to see the shoes
in their natural element, away from the
sales associates.

I got my hair cut by Erin who did a great
job. She trimmed a lot of the length that
had been building up in the back and sides.
She played with something called "notching"
to get rid of the uniformity of my hair. And
then she did the unthinkable: she used hair
gel! "What the hell?" replied my hair. It
hasn't felt anything like that since I lost
the 7th grade egg toss contest after trying
to header a long one. Goopy and sticky. Oh
well... we'll see how it does. I don't
think that I'll use any tomorrow, but you
never know.

As with any haircut, you can't tell if it
was a good one until a few days later. Not
sure why this is the case, but it seems to
be the case for me.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Feel free to let me know what you think.
