Lunch with 5 Seasons Brewing

Good lunch with Ken Grisnak from the 5 Seasons Brewing Blog and John Cox. Mark and my father joined in too. I had an organic salad and got a free t-shirt. Who says blogging doesn't pay?!? Lots of good discussion on a number of fronts. Ken's gearing up to add a bunch of content. He's recruited three folks to provide blog entries, including a server who's done some blogging before. Can't wait to see what they come up with. Most of our corporate clients balk at content creation and then fail to deliver. Ken will deliver. He's a master marketer and understands how blogs can fit into his master plan. He's identified the ego-stroking quality of blogs on his own and is playing to it, offering others in the company the opportunity to become big identities. He's just been out of town and a little under the weather lately, so the blog entries haven't been as forthcoming. Good progress and looking forward to seeing what Ken can do with blogs. Always cautioning that it'll take a long while of creating content without returns before that magical inflection point where readership and inbound links happen.
