This is cool because a) it's near our house b) heather and ava are safely in villa rica and c) we were riding bikes out there just yesterday. Apparently there was a possible tornado spotted near Snellville. They interrupted tv with the emergency system:

A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR TORNADOES IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS AND POSSIBLE WARNINGS....
Update 7:41PM: Didn't kill me. But there are new tornado warnings... yay! They've lowered the standard of a warning. Back when I was young they called a warning when somebody had seen a funnel. A watch was called when conditions were ripe for a 'nado. But now they're calling warnings based on a doppler radar signature of a storm that "may lead to a tornado." Sounds more like a watch to me. Until somebody sets eyes on a funnel I don't want to hear about it. Amateurs.
