Hurricane Rita Coming... Hurry, Let's Blame Somebody Now!

Hurricane Rita is a Cat 2 and will likely hit Texas. If you listened to any of the Hurricane Katrina coverage you certainly know that now, four days ahead of the storm, FEMA and the federal government should be mobilizing massive efforts to save lives in the face of a storm that may get stronger or weaker and may hit anywhere in a multiple-thousand mile arc. Oh, wait, but they can't because that would make zero sense whatsoever. I'm not a big fan of the media these days with their 20/20 hindsight backseat driving through history. Here's hoping the storm hits Mexico so that we don't have to hear our embarrassing media whine about it for two weeks.

Update 8:56AM Wednesday: Now a Cat 4. I certainly don't mean I want anybody to get hit by this thing... I'm just frustrated with the media.
