Up a good portion of the night with a squaking Ava. She's too cute to get mad at, but that sleep dep is real. Grogily poked at the Hibernate 3.1 framework for a while. We keep rewriting DAOs and should move to an abstraction framework. I had it working a while ago but couldn't get it happening this morning. Too many parts had moved in the last few months. And I was groggy.

So I went to All3Sports to get my bike repaired. The little screw that sets the rear wheel's distance from the frame was bent. I heard about it during my pre-IM-Fla bike checkout but the mechanic thought it was too risky to repair on the spot. I rode the race without incident and then forgot about it. Until this week. It was a quick fix for the good folks at All3. Saw Alex and talked baby for a few minutes.

Vanessa and Anna are seeing some funkiness on their blogs. Need to get onto the bug fixes again.

This evening I finally got Hibernate working. I need to make it more robust and then auto-generate some mapping files and classes from the database. Then some developer doc. Then launch it and use it.

Heather's on her way home so I'm hopping onto the bike for a quick ride before she gets here.
