Origami Ultra Mobile PC? Not Yet for Me.

Microsoft and partners launched a new computing form factor called the Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC) last night. Called the origami project. They're on the right path. I'd love a small tablet to carry around the home and around town to do computing above my Treo and below my notebook computer. Basic surfing, listening, emailing, etc. But the form factor isn't quite there yet. Battery life is lacking. And pricing will be for the early-adopters (read: high). But in late 06/early 07, as their products mature, I plan on getting one of these things.
