New Cell Phone: Palm Treo 700p
I awoke to Bug barking... which meant my new Palm Treo 700p. As you know, I hated the 700w and couldn't wait to get back to the simplicity of the Palm OS. I haven't gotten everything configured but already it's working much more smoothly. One big thing I didn't realize is how crappy the screen on the 700w was. 240x240 vs. 320x320. My old Palm 650 and my new 700p have the higher-resolution screen and it makes a big difference. Couple that with the fact that the designers didn't put a Windows Start bar on every screen and there's a lot more real estate to work with. Now I need to sell the 700w on eBay.
Update 11:32AM: My TomTom Navigator software won't activate on the new device. They limit it to two devices. The 650 and 700w filled those slots. They make it really hard to find a phone number on their site. That's horrible service. I could only find a UK number. They referred me to the US number. I called and they are going to regenerate the keys for me and call me or email me today or Monday. All nice people. Crappy corporate support policies and processes.
Update 11:43AM: Ok, wow... they called back a couple minutes later with the codes. I'm now activated. WahoO!
