Spent the morning and early afternoon working. Since I'll be running Wednesday morning I figure this evens things out a bit. Spent a lot of time this afternoon with Ava to give Heather some time alone. She spent it working with Rusty who came over. We ate at the newly-renovated Los Hermanos... double the space, same great food. Very nice because the one complaint I've always had was the close quarters. Took Aves to the supermarket... with no Mommy! She was an angel! We bought mommy some sundae ingredients and when we got home we mixed them up for her. We don't think mommy remembers how to relax any more though. We tried. But mommy was still on the edge of the couch, sitting at attention. We need to get the mommy some away time.
Ava taught me a word tonight. She said "ba" repeatedly and pointed at her pacifier, eventually crawling down a stair to get it. We always call it "binks" or "binky" but we're obviously wrong. Later in the evening she called out "ba" so I hopped up and helped her look around for one. It's cool to see the start of two-way comms.
Overall a good Sunday. Some good work completed. Some good leg resting. Some good eating. Some good Ava time.
Oh, Dana & Sue got attacked by cattle on their ride today!
