Saturday, September 23, 2006 - Ava's First Boat Ride
Beep, Ball and I took Ava out on the boat for her first boat ride in the morning. She clung to me for the first few minutes (any parent loves being needed) but then quickly gained her sea legs and started to explore. By the end the had driven the boat and tried to lean over the edge quite a few times. It was a nice morning... cool and sunny.
Heather and Rusty were out on a bike ride so I got to take Aves for her morning nap. We snugged for about two hours. I listened to the end of an audiobook and then read a book on anatomy. Aves slept. I love snugging with the little rat.
Terp made it back, got dressed and we went to see a Villa Rica mansion up for sale. Big festivities at the property. I took Ava for a quick spin and then we retired to the outside for a stroll around the back yard while Beep, Ball, Rusty and Terp sauntered around inside.
After that I headed home to get some work done. Picked up some Chinese food at Hunan Inn Tucker. Heather came back a few hours later. We watched American Eats: Pizza... and then ordered a pizza from Bambinelli's... that show is dangerous! After that it was bed time.
