08:27:20 AM: Pizza Ride this evening but before that a meeting and I'm not sure I'll be able to pick up the bike at all3sports beforehand. Rain threatens pizza ride... first one of the season.
12:40:37 PM: Bottom bracket on the bike's hosed. In the words of Bill, mechanical expert at All3Sports, "you're brutal on the bike man." This is the second time the bottom bracket's been messed up... the last time they broke tools trying to fix it. They say it's got some new bearings and is ready but I don't think I can make it up there and back into town for the meeting.
04:07:02 PM: Finished presenting to the Market Research Association. Sr. did a great job which made my job much easier. Good questions from the group too.
04:08:08 PM: On way to bike shop. Where's this rain? Timing not looking good to make it back downtown. And home for spandex.
05:26:04 PM: Got the bike but doesn't look like timing is in my favor. Still don't even have clothes to ride in, don't know how to get to start, etc. Think I'm a'bailin'. But I talked to Dana and it sounds like she's in, even if somewhat reluctantly. Where the heck is this rain they've been predicting?
