Josh Shields Rocks Tanner Tri

Congrats to Josh Shields who took 1st in 30-34 by time but 3rd by official results (8th overall) due to a pre-race riding-bike-in-transition penalty. Unfortunate. I rode my bike a good five minutes in transition before St. Anthony's to get the gears working smoothly. Congrats either way... 1st or 3rd is a great result! Josh and I met on the Airport ride this year when he recognized me from the site. He sent some very kind words about joereger.com today mentioning that it's helped motivate him. He even says that he's turned some of his buddies on to the site. This is very fulfilling to me and while I'll certainly take a teensy bit of credit we all know that Josh's results are the result of his own hard work. Keep it up for a great season!
