06:30:45 PM: Spent the morning getting back into the work thing. Had a number of emails and phone calls to return. Resolved a couple things. Pushed info around and hopefully had some affect on other things.
Then I headed to the pool in the afternoon to write up my
summary of the Vermont 100 endurance run. Didn't take too long... I've been thinking about it since crossing the finish line. Some rambling but it was a long event and there's a lot to cover. Now Terp and Aves are home.
I saw that Vino screwed the goat. What was he thinking? They played the time trial on tv today which was brilliant. All Paul and Phil's comments of Vino's amazing performance and recovery make sense. If you ever ask "why not just let them all dope?" go watch a stage like that when you know who's doping. Lame. It's like betting where you know who wins or something. One of the big pulls to pro cycling for me is that I can compare my legsticks to theirs. If they're on drugs then I don't care how fast they can go... they're doing something different than the cycling that I do.
06:35:33 PM: Anita Fromm, who I ran with me at the Mississippi 50 miler, is currently doing the Badwater 135. Check her progress
here. Because when I say "currently doing" I mean now as in she's running as I type this. Those folks have some big hairys.
