(And apologies for that whole confusion about the quote-unquote birthday suit, who's supposed to wear it, whether it's appropriate on the front lawn with a boom box a'la John Cusack in Say Anything, etc. A quick Googling and I figured it all out... you're right... nobody wants to see that... especially on their birthday.)
