Update, I'm 35, Still Sick
It was 22 days ago that I woke up sick. Since then I've gotten worse, better, worse, better for a week and now worse.
Over the weekend I turned 35! Which means we're officially into spring. At 70 and sunny it certainly felt like it! But by my Monday morning commute it was snowing?!? Now on Tuesday we're back to sunny and nice.
This sickness thing is killing me. The night before my birthday I started to feel worse again. I hadn't really ever gotten better. My ear was still plugged and I was still coughing up gunk in the morning. But it was a consistent low rumble of misery. Friday afternoon I got the shakes and felt nauseous again.
I went to the pingFit photo shoot on Saturday but didn't shake any hands. Keith and Danielle, truly appreciate you guys. These shoots sound good on paper but in real life they're hectic and a lot of work. Thanks for being there. And thanks to Jay and Marty... great photographers, tons of equipment!
Our goal was to add 100 exercises to the pingFit system and we got there. It'll take some time to post-produce the still photos into animations and get them entered into the site. But it's a big step.
I had to leave early from the shoot. I was getting shakey and I could tell that things were getting worse quickly. Sunday, Monday and now this morning things have gone south. My throat is killing me. Good news is that while my ear is still plugged I'm back to 80% hearing.
For my birthday I spent the afternoon and evening with my family. They made me a roast and a cake. The kiddos are a handful and I love hanging out with them.
I can only assume that as I was recovering from the first cold I caught something else from the kiddos. My immune system must have been down.
No rest for the weary. Lots of work to do. I'm making it through the days and crashing at night.
