Busy Sunday
Busy Saturday and Busy Sunday... no rest for the weary. Woke up at 5:30am, out the door at around 5:45 to meet Rusty at the old house to run. We ran from there to the Silver Comet. Nice to see Lady Comet again. Saw where a tree had come down on our property. Annoying. Packed the car full of stuff and headed back to the new home.
Some of the "stuff" was two dogs. That's right... they're at the new place. Help me. First of all, Heather didn't test the electric fence. It didn't work. After losing three afternoons to it already I wasn't up for it or for the poison ivy required to re-wire it. So Heather did. Props to her. It worked. So the dogs are here.
I got some work done for a while. Sent some emails.
Then a trip to Home Depot for something. I honestly can't remember what. Heather made a trip of her own. And I closed out the evening with a trip for a second dog fence unit. These poison ivy covered dogs do not need to be near the pool... a.k.a. near me. So I set up an inner perimeter fence. Took a couple hours, less poison ivy than the outer fence. Hot as hell though.
Dinner with Beep and Ball at Tijuana Joes. Ava and I saw a rainbow after a rain. Snapped a pic.
Home and working on the servers a bit. Tons to do next week. I feel like I'm already behind and meetings and conference calls just suck all productivity out of my days. I mean, I need to be involved and things get done at the meetings but it just means that I have to spend the nights working on the technical load that I've built up over the years. I just run too much tech and need to figure out how to a) shut it down b) find some help or c) raise money to go big with it.
