Jupiter

Broke out the telescope and gawked Jupiter. It's the biggest "star" in the sky right now. Also caught some of the moons. Kind of amazing to think that just a few hundred years ago nobody had ever seen Jupiter's bands or moons. Such resolution was state of the art. Now I can do it in my back yard on 15 minutes notice... and most of that spent looking for AA batteries.
