Date Night: Canoe and Cirque

Thanks to Sr for watching Ava and Emme so that Terp and I could have a date night. We went to Canoe, got the perfect seat overlooking the river, ate salmon and skate and generally had a great meal. I hadn't told Heather what the plan was so at dinner i told her that we were going to see Cirque. Worried about how Sr would manage to get the kiddos to sleep, we called him in the car on the way downtown. Turns out, he had no issues. Aside from the whole letting Emme fall out of the crib and stuff. Cirque was awesome. We had third row seats, nestled into the front part of the stage. I had never been that close to a Cirque and it made for a very different experience. The show was great... eggs and bugs... Ovo. Good date night.
