Sick Update April 2011

I've been sick for about three weeks. It started with a sore throat that quickly went away. After that I thought I was fine. Then my lungs got gunked up. Then my ears, nose and throat. Then I got an ear ache. On Friday I tapped out and went to the doc. I had a 2p conference call to walk 20 people through a web thing and I was hoping there was something quick that could be done to clear my ears. There wasn't. I cranked the volume on my speakerphone and made my way through the call before passing out. Antibiotic for the chest infection. Guafennisen for the phlegm. It's been a couple days and I don't feel much better yet. I still can't hear very well out of either ear. My head feels like it's about to explode and I have a nasty cough. It was a busy week full of meetings and errands so this weekend I'm trying to do exactly nothing. Lots of mancave sleeping, some Portal 2 and a little Netflix. Trying to eat a lot, even though I have no appetite. Fingers crossed I'll turn the corner tomorrow.
