Fourth of July Bonanza
Heather, Robin and John hosted the fam for
this year's Fourth of July Bonanza. As is
the tradition everybody got up and ran the
Peachtree road race before retiring for
some beer and barbecue. I was a
conscientious objector this year.
I arrived at Heather's around 11:00AM as
the Peachtree runner crowd began to saunter
in. John cooked some excellent hamburgers
and hot dogs.
Our friend Jodi was in town from Texas.
She and Heather drank like they were in
high school while I took a lazy afternoon
nap.
My nap heading into evening I opted out of
fireworks, believing that my day was
complete.
