Still keeping it slow waiting for the tri this weekend. I did 10 laps freestyle and then two breast. Took a short break and then did nine freestyle and one breast. Then finished the rest in freestyle.
It was thundering and darkly clouded the whole time. A few bolts of lightning could be seen but I kept swimming. Then on my last, 40th, lap there was a huge burst of light and an instant thunderclap. I bolted out of the pool and headed for shelter.
