8 Mile Run, Weights, 45 Min Spin Class
Run was horrible at first. Shin splints. My right leg was a locked block of stone. But by 30 mins it had loosened up and for the remainder I had a normal run, heart rate a little higher than normal. Could be the extra five pounds I've packed on, residual pain from the race or detraining from the recovery period.
Then on to some weights.
And my first spin class in a while. A number of folks made a point to say hi and ask about Heather and the baby! How great is that! What a great group of spin buddies! And a great spin class. Keith put us through intervals tonight. I worked with some intervals at high resistance. I need more strength and am emulating Faris AlSultan whose interview I read recently.
