So-so swim. Saw Bob as I was getting in. He and Sue are getting ready for a marathon and just bought a new house. But Bob blew out his calf muscle at Stone Mountain. I hope he recovers quickly! I think Sue was swimming in the lane next to me. I was in a 30 min set and I was just about to end it and pop up to say Hi when she was gone. Rude of me. I should have said Hi earlier. After the first fairly solid 30 minutes I did some random stuff. My right shoulder is hurting when I put too much force into it so I need to be careful.
Then I hit the treadmill for a great-feeling 8 mile run in one hour. Legs felt smooth. Happy about this. I wore an extra layer to emulate some heat and sweat like a pig.
Then I came home and rode on the trainer while watching snowboarding videos. I wore lots of layers and almost baked. But that's the plan with heat training.
That's 18 hours in six days. Only one workout left tomorrow and then... well... probably more workouts. But with the knowledge that I completed my goal.
