AMSeven of us showed up at the Dynamo Swimming Club to do some swimming. Me, Joel, Anna, Vanessa, Steve, Keith and Leon.

As I drove home I couldn't help but have the thought that if you're going to invite people to spend their valuable time, you ought not waste it. I don't think I did a good enough job pre-testing the camera underwater before this evening's swim. And I should have had the wide angle. I should have had a better way to aim it/mount it. And I should have gotten a better sense of what everybody wanted out of the swim.

And the pool was cold.

Alright, so the negative is out of the way. Always room to improve. On to the good stuff.

We did get some footage. The best footage was shot from above the water line thanks to Leon. We got some good shots of everybody from the front and the side above water. At first glance it's tough to see anything, but when you slow it down and focus on individual pieces you can get a sense of your stroke.

Thanks to everybody who came out. I'll burn what we've got to DVDs and bring them in on Monday/Tuesday of next week. Keep practicing!
