A Little Base Training Period



I'm heading back into a little base period before the Macon Half Ironman and (possibly, baby-dependent) Ironman Lake Placid. Long, slow workouts for a few weeks. And a recommitment to the weights, yoga and pilates. And I must get my ass into the pool too. Good stuff. I've taken it very easy for the last few days after the race. Been eating a lot of food. Protein and carbs. Now I feel recharged but I don't want to hit it hard for a little while. Base is good.
