Possible Baby Name: Alie

Heather and I always name our pets as some permutation of something.

Example: Our cat was named Polymer by me. Heather called her Polywog. Then Woggles. And now we call her Wog.

So far we seem to be calling the baby The Alien. So it's clear, to me at least, that we should name it Alie.

It works for a boy or a girl. It's got that catchy cool 00's feel to it. It's unique. It fits our naming strategy. And it's got a nice story behind it.

Spelling could be Ailey, Aley, Ailley or Alie.

I like it. Here it is in action: "Hey, Alie, what's up?" "Put down the cookie Alie." "Want to play some catch Alie?" "I don't know why mom said that Alie, but we'd better comply."
