Last night Alie was kicking up a storm so Heather had me put my hand on her belly. I've done this about twenty times since Heather started to feel the kicks and I had never felt anything. But very quickly I felt a strong thump. Not the little brush I had expected. Amazing! My first direct sensory observation of my daughter. How cool! She's a kicker. Heather can feel her kicking throughout the day and it's not a fluttery sensation any more... it's a kick. Go Alie!
