Wow. Lucky Ducks, we took Piper and Violet to Florida in May and they both fussed and whined and wriggled the entire trip. I am jealously in awe of your trip! Glad Ava enjoyed the "hair pain!" :)

Dude, that is contagious as all get out. It will remain on toys, door knobs etc for days and days. We had pink eye between the girls for 6 weeks one time until we lysol'd the entire house. I kid you not. We washed every toy we could, wiped them ALL down with clorox wipes, spayed couches, steam cleaned the carpet. Spent a day doing this. Then we kept the girls seperated and cleaned everything they touched. After that, it went away. So be wary.

OUCH!! That is a massive bruise. Glad she is over it and now you can watch it disappear. Our worst was when I accidentally closed Kaden's little finger in a door when he was 1.5. Had to go to the ER, go to surgery, put him completely out and sew it up. You could almost see bone. I cried like a dumped teenage girl on prom night. Glad all is well in the Reger household tonight.

Hang in there. I can tell you, this is the first of many. On Christmas day 2004, our little Gracie, who just turned 1 yr old on Dec 15 had an accident. You know those big, heavy decorative things people put on thier fireplace mantles to hold Christmas stockings? She grabbed her stocking a it fell on her skull. The pump knot was at least 1/2 inch high in seconds and bleeding. The screaming was unbelievable. No signs of concussion or anything, but to be safe our pediatritian suggested we take her to the ER. Which we did. There were 5 other kids there who'd done the same thing. Gracie was fine, no issues. Got a great teddy bear from the nurses there,,,but it gave Vic and I much grief. So, for your Christmas decorations planning going forward, I highly suggest you NOT use one of those stocking holders.
I hope little Ava get's well soon. She is a doll.

Nice bump! I've already learned that if it swells up, it's a good sign, not a bad sign. Also, flat falls on floors are better than falls into corners. By the time our kids become teenagers, we could have a doctor's degree with our knowledge on sickness/falls/ect!
